can i ask you guys if this was from the virgin start with not even the nand read?(eject problem only).

reason why is because it also could of been messed up from a person trying to mod the drive plugged in and on?,maybe 2 wire trick? or wrong way plugging in the drive....

so this leads to a path to the southbridge if not the southbridge itself and we have a cure for this on this forum....

over the top id happily donate for that figure but £66 + is over the top unless i get the chance to flash others and get some funding back

if its locked to one user not worth it, i only play fifa 10 online

One thing I did that eliminated 99% of the problems was move the games from your usb to your original xbox hd.  Run them from there and report back.

Like Tiros already stated in a post in the XBR thread. You can flash XBR succesfully with KV and config when you use the available xell_hack file for your console. I have successfully flashed my 2 consoles like this. I used the following commands (But all credits go to tiros for pointing me this way)

-Download the xell_hack.bin for your console (I used the zephyr one) from the usual place.
-Download the original XBR xenon_1 file from the usual place.
-Have a backup of your original nand

Use the following commands to make the right image to flash:

nandpro origbackup.bin: -r16 rawkv.bin 1 1
nandpro orig.binbackup: -r16 rawconfig.bin 3de 216
nandpro zephyr_xell_hack.bin: -r16 xellfw.bin 0 40

nandpro XBR.bin: -w16 xellfw.bin 0 40 (Important to do this as the first writing command)
nandpro XBR.bin: -w16 rawkv.bin 1 1
nandpro XBR.bin: -w16 rawconfig.bin 3de 2

Then flash and it should work

P.P.P.S. When you were injecting your KV and secdata (config) into the XBR image were u using Nandpro 2.0a or 2.0b ? When i used 2.0a i got christmas lights, when i used 2.0b it worked hunky dory

Use 3FF and 3FE then. The last few blocks are free.


I noticed an odd issue.. if there's an USB HDD connected at boot, the console also gives E71.. if I plug it in later, it's fine.
