Actually, you can buy ANY Xbox 360 dvd drive, doesn't nessearly need to be Hitachi (Although recommanded) If you buy a samsung, benq, or liteon, you need to spoof the firmware afterward, that's all.

Well if you believe ure PCB is fine, simply buy another identical drive and swap the PCB. That will work. Also, it's not called "hot-swappable". That's something completely different
