Got the cpu key for the bad nand from the xell flash. The other console wont boot up so even tho I can read the nand I cant get the cpu key from it. I was able to retrive the dvd key from the original nand but cant get the kv out. if I had a good kv i could edit it with my info but they are hard to find.

Ok I have the same problem as a few people with bad nand read. I got my cpu key from xell flash. I also have another system here with the same motherboard that does not work at all and I have read the nand from it (good read this time). Now since I cant boot this system up (3red rings), can I remove the nand chip from it and place it in my other system then get the cpu key off it, or will it not boot up to read it? If it boots up I can extract the key vault from it and inject my dvd key and info and then flash it back.
Wish I would of check nand read from 1st one but lesson learned.
Thanks

Ok if you flashed it with ixtreme firmware this your drive is now version ms28 not ms25 anymore. You will need to do the 10 sec trick to get it to flash again. After typing mtkflash w /m /sata ?.bin the ports will come up. unplug power to the drive and select whichever port you flash on, then wait 10 seconds and apply power to the drive again and it should start flashing. You might need to play with the 10 sec 11 sec and so on.

Ok here my story on Halo 2 original and backup games. I have 4 xbox 360's at home. One is modded with latest firmware and rest are stock. Now I also have 2 20 gig drives and 1 orig 120 gig drive and 1 120gig drive that I imaged off the orig 120 gig drive. Confused yet? Anyway Halo 2 works on all systems except the one with the imaged 120gig drive. It has something too do with the imaged drive. I swapped drives and it loads ok so its not the system. I also d/l'd the update for xbox 1 games from live and installed it myself but still luck. Not that important to me as the kids can use one of the other 3 systems.

Hi I am having the same problem. I got the new xplorer and I still get this error "could not find a fatx drive to open" with my 120gig drive. Altho it works fine in the system. Xplorer fines my 20 gig fine but not the 120gig drive. I used Specialist software to retrieve the bin file and put it on my new 120 gig drive but as for xplorer seeing it, no go.
Any idea's?
Thanks

I don't think so. I had to get mine done twice (left a dvd inside when flashing). After second time I decided to get a TS drive as well as they can be fixed. Think it cost about 40 bucks US to get this done, but when you receive your drive back it will have your key on it, unlike the TS drive you are getting. You will need to insert your key into that one before using.
Good Luck
