thanks gigabite we found out like in ur private pm it was the card im using,not like others here (nameless) who always find ways to put others down, the textbook 09 shows 1 way.but i was trying to learn the jungleway and it dont show it in the textbook 09, and yes junglebook has stpe by step but if read close it does leave few parts out.. but anyway i got the card from the place u said gigabite and its a charm, so once again ur very on the target not like som a holes..  |

I finally managed to update my liteon fw with a decent working fw IXtreme 1.5 (thanks Team Jungle and all the people that were involved !).
I can see IXtreme version 1.5.1 is out now, but what are the consequences if I choose not to upgrade ? I can play my backups now, so why do I need to upgrade ?
as said some new games and more to come will need updated to 1 51 or soon to be 1 60 you can wait and see how many games come out only 2 so far but mant more is planned so stay where you are till 1 60 comes or do it now depends on you. |

well it was the card ok not me.
my friends here on the site (who ill not name ) also had trouble they said its the card,
but anyway you must not have a life at all, or maybe your a kid, how old are you 10 , it sounds that way due to the fact you always want to be in control and demanding , see a doctor because the time you reach 18 youll be a in jail for sexing kids, have a nice day ok
but to the rest who are listening , i found out that my card is infact not a good one, it will not see the 360, so i ordered a newer crad off ebay, it comes from hongkong only 10 bucks shipped, my freind gigbite showed me the best card to use and the ones at new egg are not good ones so beware.we will check jelle2503 make sure its ok when i post later seems he wants to be a leader here and dont know how, we all had one like him in school right you know we all 10 years and he was the 14 year old bully in same greade who was held back yea thats him.
anyone also have trouble with that card pm me ok

are you being serious? try using google: "texbook 2008" or "textbook tutorial" its the first link that pops up  as you'll probably have difficulties using google i give you the direct link: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/664581here's a tutorial that you'll need as well, i recommend a thorough read, good luck with that. http://www.googleguide.com/edit: you've been here two years, and since you've got to the point where you require someone to give you a link to a tutorial?, one that can be easily found through google? hmm. i do not recommend you try flashing that hitachi yourself as it'll likely end up as a brick, or you can start learning how to flash then i'd say you can do it in maybe 4 to 5 years.  always as jerk in the crowd hu |

anyway i have 2 diffrent sata cards that has VT6421A on it both are installed on diffrent pc using windows xp, both will not see the xbox 360 samsung ts-h943 and if i power it on it will freeze the mouse on my pc also i have 3rd pc using a sata card has Vt642il chip does same thing so what am i doing wrong here ? why dont the pc see it.. by the way dont be jerk when answering like past guys just give info ok i know lots about ps2 and xbox 1 and some on 360 but now im tring to learn flashing yes after 2 years so lets gets some info i did read the book ok but have not yet got the pc to see the 360 so any help  ? |

if you could punctuate your sentence, maybe you don't look like a child and everyone here has less trouble reading your post if you want to flash. you put this drive in Mode B, use a compatibel chipset, then you run Flashix.bat from the ixtreme 1.4 firmware pack, and it should flash. maybe reading so that you can understand what you're doing might be a good idea step by step  you really want a step how to plug in a cable? just hook the damn thing up completely to your PC. power it, run mode_b, then after it pops up in your windows, it's good to go. maybe reading Textbook 2008 will do you some good send me site where to get textbook 08 |

yeah, you're apparently so new that you aren't even capable of reading tutorials.
JF will only read 360 drives. if you turn off the power of both, it will reset everything, so why would you do that?

question any one help me please i have a sata card from newegg.com it has the vt6421a chip in it , ok my question in it is do i turn off the power of both pc and 360 etc and which do i boot up first?? also do i diconect all my dvd drives in my pc doing this so that jungle flasher dont read them ? let me know guys ok please im new at this,,, also by the way im flashing both hatchi and sammy drives .. |

well i did the updtae as it need and quess what my original played great so did my back up of it so just do the updtae its ok and its still allows u to play same as u did

Dumbass.
Before update: Exploit that might allow the playing of UNSIGNED code (emulators/linux/xbmc).
After update: No emulators/xbmc on YOUR xb360 any time soon. Unsigned exploit "fixed". But yeah, your dirty "backups" will still work.
Some of us mod-users actually care about important homebrew instead of "backups", "stolen games" and "piracy".
So.. adjust that eyepatch, and learn to use your good eye when reading. Especially before donating advice.
well dumb$#!t just dont worry about stealing i my self only copy what i own and if you want to play a homebrew and so smart build your own game system dont keep hacking a 360 or etc if your so smart ok , if you buy a 360 play 360 games ok or build your own dipstick!!!!! we like it as it is ok dont think bill gates ever asked you to have the wants to play home brew ok so we will watch for your great system right beside 360 in wlamart soon ok |

The 4552 update not only blows an eFuse but it also includes new system libraries (and replaces the dash.xex BTW). You can replace the update folder with an older one to defeat that check but the game itself will either check for the updated libraraies and/or depend on new functionality in the libraries in order to function.

ok guys i tried using the swap method to back up my game of crackdown, and it never plays in my 360 the orig will but my backup dont , also i tried using xbox creator 2.3 also no go, anyone have a step by step to do this let me know plz im in very much in needed help.
