5562  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: Samsung Firmware on: July 01, 2006, 06:30:28 AM
this ONLY works if you have a fat32 partition, though.. dos can't access ntfs.
5563  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Restore to orig FW Crashed!!!! on: July 01, 2006, 06:26:22 AM
hotswap won't work since the drive no longer reports itself as a device to windows.
as usual, the only option is to flash externally.
5564  Xbox1 (original) / Xbox1 General / Re: I really don't want to mess it up! on: July 01, 2006, 06:20:25 AM
if you suck at soldering, don't even think about using the top d0 point.
5565  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Bad flash ideas on: June 30, 2006, 05:46:13 PM

5567  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: Emulator Video on: June 30, 2006, 05:18:13 PM
it's definitely not by the guys who posted the screenshots before, and avalaunch says "no link", which means there's no network connection established.. yet live supposedly works?
5568  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Bad flash ideas on: June 30, 2006, 04:59:31 PM
cause the drive will not allow any access with a bad firmware, and with the firmware being bad, it can't execute the flashing code in the first place. that's the very reason why flashing the entire firmware will also brick the drive, the flasher code will crash during it.
5569  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 "Modding" / Re: Best way to light ? on: June 30, 2006, 07:37:16 AM
I suggest hooking it up directly to the 12V line of the PSU. if you draw too much power on the fan connector and the controller fries, you got a problem.

5571  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: flashing old/dead hitachi firmware to new hitachi drive? on: June 30, 2006, 02:10:32 AM
there's a thread on how to transfer the key from samsung to hitachi, the same applies to hitachi to hitachi, have a look there for explanations and the proper commands.

5573  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: From the Devil? on: June 30, 2006, 01:17:26 AM
that code means absolutely nothing.
5574  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: flashing old/dead hitachi firmware to new hitachi drive? on: June 30, 2006, 01:16:17 AM
you desolder the firmware chip, buy a programmer, flash it and solder it back in.
5575  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: Help Please on: June 29, 2006, 05:06:35 PM
no.
you're too lazy to read.
5576  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: bad flash Fix on: June 29, 2006, 04:08:33 PM
flash recovery ONLY works with samsung drives. a bad flash on hitachi can only be fixed by desoldering.

5578  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: is Slax absolutly neccesary to get drive into modeb on: June 29, 2006, 06:19:11 AM

5579  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: How to make a copy of your backup/burned 360 game 1:1 on: June 29, 2006, 06:02:46 AM
the 360 disk format demands that the layer break is always at that sector.
if it's not, the data partition is not where the 360 expects it to be, so it can't read the files.
5580  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: SAtA cable and 360 firmware (47d) on: June 29, 2006, 06:01:07 AM
if it's dvd +r only, then it 99% is not DL.. DL didn't exist back when there were +r-only and -r-only burners around.
