5301  Xbox1 (original) / Xbox1 Support / Re: can not lock hdd says security is frozen ?help? on: August 26, 2006, 11:27:08 AM
that HD may simply not support locking.
5302  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: Hitachi mediatype patch, quite better version on: August 26, 2006, 11:26:10 AM
how about reading one of the 5 billion postings on bricked hitachis, for f***s sake? you can NOT f***ing recover it.
5303  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: browsing xbox 360 hdd on: August 25, 2006, 12:18:10 PM
no.
you hook up the drive to the PC via SATA or sata->USB adapter, no other way. ftp is impossible, where exactly would the 360 get an ftp server from?
5304  Xbox1 (original) / Xbox1 General / Re: ISO patching on: August 24, 2006, 02:44:29 PM
first of all, you don't have 100 originals. second, DL is your only option. third, ask about pirated games again and you are gone for good.
5305  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: help to complete reflash hitachi [flash.exe usage] on: August 24, 2006, 12:21:36 PM
considering the search should've returned about 20 postings all saying it will brick your drive, don't you think that's confirmation enough?
5306  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: [Help] I'm so stupid! on: August 24, 2006, 12:17:18 PM
it lowers the chance of bricking the drive, like about 5000 people on here did by now.
5307  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: can you put mp3s onto your hardrive? on: August 24, 2006, 12:15:44 PM
sure. and then they take up space and don't do anything cause the dashboard doesn't support playing them off HD.
5308  Xbox1 (original) / Xbox1 General / Re: Samsung Firmware Hack on: August 24, 2006, 12:15:12 PM
*sigh*
no.
just f***ing no.
5309  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: MTKFLASH only shows 2 ide drivers no sata drive on: August 24, 2006, 12:14:29 PM
then you most likely didn't hexedit it right. you couldn't possibly flash it with 0800 firmware since you can't flash at all right now, there's no "0800" mode.
5310  Xbox1 (original) / Xbox1 General / Re: Need Help me with a PSU fuse on: August 24, 2006, 12:13:40 PM
there's about a thousand reasons why a fuse can pop, and the entire purpose of it popping is to prevent damage to the PSU, so replacing it will fix it.
and fuses don't just pop when you open a system.
5311  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: MTKFLASH only shows 2 ide drivers no sata drive on: August 24, 2006, 12:09:17 PM
there are no drivers involved AT ALL, since you are in dos. if you aren't in dos, you didn't read the instructions.
5312  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: Would M$ be able to stop you from getting 360 game updates on a hacked 360? on: August 24, 2006, 12:08:03 PM
how many times will people ask these questions? YES, MS can. if you don't want to get banned, don't modify your 360. end of story.
5313  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Toshiba samsung easy flash firmware on: August 24, 2006, 12:06:24 PM
wtf for? the samsung can be flashed from a PC, even with a f***ed bios.
5314  Xbox1 (original) / Xbox1 General / Re: Need Help me with a PSU fuse on: August 23, 2006, 11:38:13 PM
you should be able to use any fuse with the same values, it doesn't have to be the exact same shape.
5315  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Desoldering 39SF020A tsop question/39SF020A-70-4C-NH PLCC question on: August 23, 2006, 11:36:46 PM
you can possibly get away with using desoldering wick or melting a big blob of solder to all pins on one side, keeping it liquid, lifting the chip slightly, then removing the solder blob with a solder sucker. you just have to clean up all contacts afterwards.
5316  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: X360 PAL Hard Drive on: August 23, 2006, 11:33:32 PM
the hardware works on all systems.
5317  Xbox1 (original) / Xbox1 General / Re: Getting online after bigger HD with softmod??? Possible? on: August 23, 2006, 11:28:30 PM
if you have ever been online with that xbox, you will be banned if you go online with a new HD.
5318  Xbox1 (original) / Xbox1 General / Re: Difference between ATA 33/66/ - 100/133 cable/s on: August 23, 2006, 11:27:24 PM
yeah. and it doesn't make it any faster cause the xbox 1 only supports ATA33 in the first place.
5319  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: How Do I ...... on: August 23, 2006, 11:25:07 PM
oh for f***s sake.. you also believe in the easter bunny, right?
5320  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Bricked my drive when flashing stealth... on: August 22, 2006, 07:00:33 PM
as said about a million times by now, the drive is f***ed and you'll have to reprogram the desoldered flashchip externally.
