uhm.. it may be a A LOT cheaper and easier to just buy a sata card or a sata-pata adapter. you won't find the firmware and finding the exact same logic board (with the exact same revision!) will be very hard.
or simply return the drive to the store.

you basically flashed the drive with a bad firmware, you most likely won't be able to reflash that in software.

try another vga cable. it sounds like kiosk mode may be activated using the mode set jumpers for the video output, and you probably have a short circuit in the plug.

that's impossible to do in drive firmware. besides, the game wouldn't know when to swap and crash, plus data on a disk is usually not read simply from A to B, but it has to load parts from all areas of the disk back and forth all the time.

the key lost its central lock code when you removed the battery. you have to re-sync it with the car. check in the manual of the locking system or the car itself to see how to do it, it's different for every system.
