you have to do all that right on the xbox. I can't link you to the videomode changer, since it contains illegal files. check xbins.

ahh, wait.. I didn't notice this thread is in the xbox 1 section.. yes, there the system is on the HDD. did you switch videomodes by chance? switching to ntsc-J will cause a black screen. you can boot the enigmah videomode changer DVD and press A or B to switch the mode to either PAL or NTSC blindly, try that.

you can't. it's on the flash, encrypted and all. however usually, if the system files were corrupted, you'd either get an error message or the system would not turn on at all.

again, it depends entirely on the drive. if there's a samsung in it, you can flash it as usual. if it's a 78 hitachi, just flash. if it's a 79 hitachi, no way around key/modding. if it's a benq, you're out of luck right now.
