You will have to adjust the resistor configuration next to the NAND too, to match that of a 16MB console.

Sorry, we don't support dickless little kiddies that deserve to be set on fire here.
43  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 "Modding" / Re: Removing Memory Card Ports on: January 30, 2012, 12:37:27 AM
For the large pads and ground areas, 25W is likely just too weak.
44  Xbox1 (original) / Xbox1 Support / Re: problem with playing normal XBOX discs...no prob with burned discs on: January 28, 2012, 03:47:15 AM
I doubt he still needs to play the game after 8 months.
45  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Jasper does not work (no standby voltage) on: January 27, 2012, 12:26:45 AM
Did you try another PSU?
46  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Soldering small RGH points advice on: January 25, 2012, 04:36:55 PM
Use hotglue.. tape doesn't prevent much if you accidently get the wire tangled up and pulled on. A drop of hotglue will keep it in place.
47  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Soldering small RGH points advice on: January 24, 2012, 04:36:50 PM
If you have never soldered on points this small, either let someone else do it, or practice A LOT on a scrap board first. These points come off quite easily.
Use pliable wire, not stiff, make sure to not heat up the point for longer than a second or two. Pre-tin the wire tips to make them stick faster.
48  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Console front light flash once, then red on psu on: January 23, 2012, 03:17:43 AM
Bad SMC will cause the console to not power on, but the power supply will remain green.
49  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Console front light flash once, then red on psu on: January 23, 2012, 01:42:13 AM
That usually happens if you have a short circuit somewhere.
50  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Jtagged Falcon Black Screen on: January 23, 2012, 01:28:13 AM
First of all, that thing is called Xell. Second, how did you build freeboot? From the sound of it, the image is simply bad.
51  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: (Help) TRI-Nand PCB layout - Using Online PCB MFG to make on: January 21, 2012, 09:07:46 PM
Those NANDs are a completely generic part, they're used all over, not just 360. The PCB should easily be doable on a single layer, since you're just connecting points 1:1.
52  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: jasper wont power up on: January 21, 2012, 04:40:16 AM
No power up without the PSU turning red usually points to a bad SMC/bad flash. Did you remove power from the console for a while after flashing? The SMC is cached and will only reset once it loses power.
53  Research & Technical XboxHacking (Xbox 360) / DVD-ROM Drive and Media / Re: Source code for flashing tools on: January 20, 2012, 01:52:08 PM
No, and I doubt anyone will ever bother.

Wow. Zero information what you want to do, and wrong section on top of it. So impressive, it just has to go to the trash.
55  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: need help !?!?!? on: January 15, 2012, 03:51:36 PM
So why exactly are you opening a new thread instead of using the one discussing it already?
56  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: stupid box, y u no boot to xell?!:((( on: January 15, 2012, 03:50:48 PM
Xell won't magically jump on your console from a chip that just tries to cause it to crash at the right moment. Of course you have to flash the console before it can work.. just don't forget to actually dump the nand a few times and check that it is a good dump before you do.
57  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: RCH on new Slim box with 2.0.14699 dashboard. on: January 12, 2012, 03:56:59 AM
Ah, sorry.. I read that as 2011, not 2010. So yeah, it is glitchable.
58  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: RCH on new Slim box with 2.0.14699 dashboard. on: January 11, 2012, 03:25:58 PM
Before drive mod yes, before glitch doesn't matter. However, with that manufacturing date, chances are pretty good that it's not glitchable, the drive may or may not be flashable. You'll have to open it to be sure.
59  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Xbox 360 Fan Spins Really Fast on: January 08, 2012, 01:23:00 PM
It just takes a dab of the paste, it spreads out from the pressure. You should put the original pads back on there.
60  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Xbox 360 Fan Spins Really Fast on: January 08, 2012, 04:09:06 AM
The penny trick is garbage, and you probably didn't mount the heatsink right or tight enough (or too tight) if this happens.
Generic thermal paste works fine.
