NOONE knows. and if you are going to use the hack merely to pirate games without buying any, you may as well leave this forum and not come back.
3262  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: 360Drive Switcher Question on: August 08, 2008, 02:01:20 PM
before anything, clean the lense. and yes, the mechanics of the drive are usually quite durable, the laser is the main part when you get reading errors.

yep.
3264  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: Flash NAND through Xell on: August 08, 2008, 01:40:29 PM
apparently there is, but I believe it's not public.
3265  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: 360Drive Switcher Question on: August 08, 2008, 12:11:53 PM
before you go switching anything, try simply cleaning the laser. best method would be a q-tip and alcohol, but if you don't have that, a cleaning cd/dvd will do the trick, although you may have to run it a few times.
if that fails, the most likely cause is that your laser is dying. you can get replacement lasers for much less than a whole new drive on ebay for example.
3266  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: assasins creed problem on: August 08, 2008, 08:00:59 AM
depending on how many different games you play, it may be copying cache data. for every 3 or 4 games you play, the cache data of the oldest will be deleted automatically.

what a load of nonsense mod or no mod i dont believe that crap

i have the same issue on my 2 benq`s and assassins creed its weird but that game does not seem to like that drive

if you don't know what you are talking about, shut the hell up. that's the way the game caching works, that's known fact.
and some games copy a lot of data to cache on first launch, so it takes longer to start (i.e. oblivion).
and since you obviously can't read, I will point out the key word in my posting: "it MAY be caching data".
it is one possible cause.

we already had several discussions on this.
You can not connect a host device to a host device.
3268  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: HDMI console wont power up - totally dead - light on psu stays orange on: August 07, 2008, 04:18:46 PM
xbox 1 has no external power supply, so it has to be for 360.
3269  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Dashboard not loading - freezes on XBOX 360 Logo - Games load fine on: August 07, 2008, 04:06:24 PM
forget the downgrade, that only works on older models that were never repaired or bought in the past months.
you could try clearing the updates (hold sync on the console, then power on and keep holding it), also try without HDD in case the cache is corrupt or something.
3270  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: what secondary error code is this? on: August 07, 2008, 03:55:35 PM
the solder connection is likely at the bottom side of the cap.
3271  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: Latest XBOX 360 System Update on: August 07, 2008, 03:54:25 PM
that change in the security check was intended, it certainly wasn't accidental. and it doesn't matter, it's not like they stopped checking the SS etc at all, they just "downgraded" to a more basic version of the check. you will still get banned for using un-stealthed disks.

uh? ceramic caps can't leak. they're solid.

3274  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: flashing a benq drive on: August 07, 2008, 03:39:11 PM
you don't have a choice of firmwares, there's only ixtreme. 1.41 is the latest. no region limitation, as the drive has nothing to do with the region.
3275  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: Maybe idea on kind of unbanning consoles? on: August 07, 2008, 03:38:15 PM
the data is encrypted, yes. you can't f*** with it.
and even if so, chances are you'd get some poor f*** banned cause your generator got his serial.
3276  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: what secondary error code is this? on: August 07, 2008, 02:06:04 PM
then replace it for the same type.
3277  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: what secondary error code is this? on: August 07, 2008, 12:43:20 PM
I suggest you just give it up. If your heatsinks are seated right and you got thermal paste on there (not spoonfuls of it), and you still get that error, then the board is f***ed, end of story. you probably damaged the edram while messing around.

st.db is the xbox 1 database of ripped music cds.
3279  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Another WD1200BEVS question :( on: August 07, 2008, 11:02:38 AM
did you also transfer partition 2 (cloning it, not file copy)? without it, no xbox 1 game will work, downloaded or disk.
3280  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: what secondary error code is this? on: August 07, 2008, 02:06:50 AM
RROD is a generic error. ANYTHING except for overheating CPU, missing video cable and defective drive will give you 3 red lights. If you scratched across the MB with a knife you would get RROD. If you ripped off some parts you'd get RROD. hell, you get a RROD if the GPU is missing.
