1921  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: Need new XeLL binaries on: August 23, 2009, 02:11:33 AM
palu, I am going to ban you if you keep asking the same $#!t over and over again without actually reading the info that is right here on this forum already.
1922  General / General Discussion (non-Xbox) / Re: Why? on: August 23, 2009, 12:47:28 AM
Because if I did that, a $#!tload of threads that actually contain valuable info would be gone too. Just because a topic has reached the end of its usability doesn't mean it needs to be deleted, just not answered to any further.
1923  General / General Discussion (non-Xbox) / Re: Thanks to Intersect on: August 23, 2009, 12:08:15 AM
and at this point I am closing it cause it's drifting off into BS again.
1924  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: Need new XeLL binaries on: August 22, 2009, 05:05:07 PM

1925  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: Help on: August 22, 2009, 12:20:43 PM
Of course.
It's:

up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, A, B, Start, get the f*** out.

to do the timing attack, it would have to be a xenon.
1927  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Lite-on unable to rebuild inquiry! on: August 22, 2009, 10:25:23 AM
definitely skip hitachi. I'd suggest just getting another liteon, in my experience, they read more media types than any other.
1928  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: method to retrieve dvdkey from xenon with jtag exploit? on: August 22, 2009, 10:21:49 AM
you now have a "braindead" console, so it won't turn on, and also can't trigger the mode needed to flash. you'll likely have to get a nand flasher, i.e. infectus or cygnos 2, to flash it now.
1929  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Problems by reading burned games on: August 22, 2009, 04:46:56 AM
pressed disks are much easier to read, so they may still work for a while when nothing else works anymore.
the laser type is printed on the laser unit itself somewhere, then use that to search i.e. ebay, you'll find replacements for all drives there. you just need to remove the static protection solder blob at the back of it, then you can pop it in, no software changes needed.
1930  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: xb360 jtag exploit - Discussion on: August 21, 2009, 10:41:13 PM
I had it hang randomly once or twice detecting an usb keyboard, but the rest of the time it booted just fine.
1931  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: NandPro: LPT and USB nand flash programmer with only 7 wires on: August 21, 2009, 05:45:11 PM
no, the cpu key is NOT stored in the nand, but, as the name says, on the CPU.
and xell will display the cpu key without ever booting linux.. as mentioned several times before.
1932  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: How to recover lost dvd key on: August 21, 2009, 05:41:58 PM
that "better tutorial" is a copy and paste job of the info here and the nandpro readme.
1933  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: How to recover lost dvd key on: August 21, 2009, 05:24:09 PM
first posting in the general hacking section and 5th posting below yours in this section. open your eyes.
1934  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: NandPro: LPT and USB nand flash programmer with only 7 wires on: August 21, 2009, 05:04:55 PM
yes, you can change region that way, given that you have your cpu key.
1935  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: How to recover lost dvd key on: August 21, 2009, 05:03:59 PM
1/4W is fine. getting the dvd key is already described in two threads here.
1936  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: How to recover lost dvd key on: August 21, 2009, 03:47:09 PM
it's in the package in the thread about the same.
1937  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: How to recover lost dvd key on: August 21, 2009, 03:24:37 PM
you need to solder. xenon is the very first 360 model. if you have anything but a xenon, you will have to wait. if you already updated the console to dash version 84xx, you are out of luck and have absolutely no way to get the dvd key.
1938  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: method to retrieve dvdkey from xenon with jtag exploit? on: August 21, 2009, 03:21:01 PM
xenon.elf is only if you happen to have some xenon.elf (i.e. some homebrew executable).
1939  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Lite-on unable to rebuild inquiry! on: August 21, 2009, 02:14:46 PM
sounds like a laser issue.
1940  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: method to retrieve dvdkey from xenon with jtag exploit? on: August 21, 2009, 02:01:30 PM
I used 430 ohm and tmbinc said up to 1 kohm SHOULD work. Without the resistors, the exploit can't work, the dumping has nothing to do with the exploit itself.
