Something you won't ever learn about if you are too fricking lazy to read.

I removed the (totally outdated) ad at the top, let me know if you have less issues now.

We don't spoonfeed. The info is there, in fact the topic is the most active these days.
165  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: USB SPI Flasher on AT90USB162-16AU on: September 07, 2011, 12:10:29 PM
Of course it's possible, but the real question is: why? PICs are cheap, the circuit is easy. It'd require pretty much a rewrite of the code. I doubt anyone will care to do all that.
166  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: XDK Recover Xenon - How to use ? on: September 06, 2011, 11:27:43 PM
The recovery discs will actually mess up retail consoles.
167  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: Removing r6t3 for flashed xbox,s to prevent future m$ update/fw. on: September 06, 2011, 01:23:52 PM
R6T3 has nothing to do with the drive flash. The xbox will actually not work anymore if r6t3 is removed and an official update is started, it'll stop with E80 and stay there until you replace the resistor.
168  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: USB SPI Flasher with PIC18F2455 - now with source and binaries on: September 05, 2011, 01:08:01 PM
I got the same issue with the connection losses on a nand flasher I used on several consoles just fine a year ago. I get disconnects after reading a while, sometimes it will actually go through without error, though. Pin 13 definitely has 5V. I resoldered everything, tried on a pc and laptop, checked all wiring, added extra caps for filtering.. no go. Any ideas?

Edit: Nevermind, likely caused by R7 (10kohm resistor on pin 26) being broken, replaced it and it did a few reads and writes fine.
169  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: reset glitch hack with Xecuter NAND-X on: September 03, 2011, 02:31:50 AM
It's the same as the digram already provided with the glitch stuff. It's just a copy of the usb nand reader afterall.

I sent him a mail, might be a while before he responds, though.
172  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: Bricked fat box on: August 29, 2011, 11:22:08 PM
Nope. It's erased and gone for good, nothing can ever recover that data if you don't have a backup.
173  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Jtag emergen C on: August 15, 2011, 10:11:46 AM
I know it was, I think that "requirement" came from a single tutorial that said to use that version.
174  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Jtag emergen C on: August 15, 2011, 07:36:13 AM
You probably updated since the original dump (i.e. to a certain 7xxx firmware that used to be a requirement for building a jtag nand) and blew efuses, so the original nand won't work anymore.
175  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: A few questions about 8xxx on: August 11, 2011, 11:22:36 PM
I just love idiots who come crawling out of their holes, yell "let's hack this, I have a great idea" that was attempted a thousand times before, or is simply not doable (bruteforcing will take THOUSANDS of years if you leave every PC on this planet running on just that), and then act like a spoiled child if they're told their idea is stupid. And because I love idiots like that, he gets a shiny new ban.
176  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Region Problem on: August 10, 2011, 03:20:20 PM
Burning the game will not influence the region lock at all. Nor can you change the region on the image, since that will break the signature.

Go right ahead then.
178  Research & Technical XboxHacking (Xbox 360) / Hard Disk / Re: xbox compatibility mode on: August 02, 2011, 08:05:22 AM
The update is only an update, it won't install the files. You have to get the original set of files from your stock HDD.

Because back then, it was true? Great first post. In fact, great last post.
