You can take 12V directly off the power plug, it will be strongest there.

I'm running mine at 720p with no issues. Could be a damaged pin on your port.. also try unplugging the other connectors to the tv to see if maybe another device causes interference.

Your flashconfig is wrong, it couldn't possibly work. You got a wire mixup, a bad parallel port for this, or the wires are too long.

The wires and the lpt cable. especially the wires going to the MB.

Did you wire up the jtag points (with the two diodes)?

If it's different every time, then obviously some data is garbage. Don't try to flash that until you can get a flawless copy that matches between dumps. Try shortening the cable.

The main point of the tutorial is that you can create packages for homebrew programs that way.

It's not supposed to turn on while you are connected to lpt. try another PC or setting different parallel port modes in the bios.

The homebrew/exploit lock is done in the CPU, there is no way to make a non-exploitable console exploitable.
