14 is actually connected, to a small circuit, although I have no clue for what purpose.

Indeed. And since all has been said that was useful info, I'm closing this.

uberfry, drop the picture crap. this isn't 4chan or some kid's forums.
1184  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: Falcon mobo schematics diagram wanted! on: January 07, 2010, 03:24:48 PM
schematics and diagrams are not available publically.. I doubt they're anywhere but in MS' safe.
1185  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: Freexex & freeboot IRC invite only on: January 07, 2010, 11:35:13 AM
The channels are empty except for the bots, there's nothing secret going on in them. Work on Xexloader continues nontheless.
1186  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: remapping bad blocks on 256mb jasper on: January 07, 2010, 11:31:22 AM
That's well out of the area that has anything to do with XBR or your config/kv.
1187  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: How To Remap Bad Blocks For XBR On Large Block Nand? on: January 07, 2010, 04:42:49 AM
yep.
1188  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: 360 Infectus Mod problems. on: January 07, 2010, 04:25:02 AM
And if your friend managed to pull "a few" solder points, he better take his hands off that console right now. He's obviously completely incapable of soldering. Those points are huge and quite stable. And as said, the timing attack was fixed over 2 years ago.
1189  General / Junkyard/Sewer/Dumpster/Landfill / Re: Updating modded Xbox 360 on: January 07, 2010, 04:20:51 AM
My advice? Ask about your pirated crap elsewhere.
1190  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: How To Remap Bad Blocks For XBR On Large Block Nand? on: January 06, 2010, 08:25:14 PM
same as above, except you go backwards on the highest address.. (I think it's 3FFF for 256 MB).. 3FFF for one, 3FFE for the next, 3FFD.. etc.
1191  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: How durable is a falcon X360? on: January 06, 2010, 06:47:28 PM
There's no way to tell. They generally hold up longer than the xenon/zephyr, but there's still a chance of ROD. Only Jasper finally dropped the dead console rate to a normal level.
1192  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: Xecuter LT Switch on: January 06, 2010, 05:15:58 PM
The thing is, TX has for years not been the team that developed the great xecuter 3 chips for the xbox 1. these are just guys who make a commercial product out of a free hack, even if it's just replacing some wires, a resistor and a switch.
1193  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: XBL "REPLACEMENT" on: January 06, 2010, 02:52:13 PM
Networking is heavily encrypted and the servers aren't in any way accessible anyways.
Also, if you don't want to spend money on MS and dislike them, I suggest you stop using windows and the xbox360 right now.
1194  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: Xbla Unlocker (new Tool) on: January 06, 2010, 12:29:32 PM
It does work with them.
1195  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: How To Remap Bad Blocks For XBR On Large Block Nand? on: January 06, 2010, 12:29:03 PM
The order doesn't even matter, the nand filesystem simply checks all the reserved blocks at the end for the missing one.
If the full nand is 7FFF long, then yes, 7FFF.
1196  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: How To Remap Bad Blocks For XBR On Large Block Nand? on: January 06, 2010, 11:29:05 AM
Read Block B0 from the XBR image with nandpro to a file. Then write the file to whatever the last block of the full nand is.
1197  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: XBOX1 Emulator Signature Patching on: January 06, 2010, 08:34:02 AM
cause you can't just load xbes, they still have to go through the emulator.
1198  Xbox 360 / XboxHacking - General / Re: If you have updated to dash 8XXX or above - what can you do - read HERE ! on: January 06, 2010, 07:45:41 AM
Exactly. Also, it's not a version number check that keeps it from booting, but the efuse configuration "tells" the kernel that it is not permitted to launch. The kernel itself checks against that.
1199  Xbox 360 / Xbox 360 General Discussion / Re: Nandbackup of 8509 not working after update to 8955 on: January 06, 2010, 07:32:54 AM
You could still extract secdata from the old dump and insert it into the new flash.
1200  Xbox 360 / Tech Support 360 / Re: USB SPI Flasher with PIC18F2455 - now with source and binaries on: January 06, 2010, 04:44:49 AM
nand write protect makes no sense since you can't go online with a jtagged console anyways. switching the jtag hack doesn't make any sense either, as the hack as such isn't detectable and doesn't cause any issues with any firmware.
it's advisable to remove r6t3, switchable isn't of much use, since XBR/freeboot don't need it, and if you do any official update that needs it, you kill all hope for homebrew on that console.
